Registered Veterinary Technician Full Time

Seeking Registered Veterinary Technician to Join Non-Profile Spay Neuter Clinic, Sacramento, CA

We are an established 501c3 non-profit high-quality, high-volume spay and neuter clinic located in Sacramento, CA.  We are seeking an experienced, efficient registered veterinary technician with a passion for spay and neuter who is interested in working in a genuinely unique environment. Full-time Monday through Thursday. Salary depends on experience and skill level. We have a great working atmosphere with an emphasis on teamwork, and a management team that puts employees first.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·         Performing high-quality, high-volume spay and neuter surgical prep on client-owned, rescue and shelter animals

·         Performing surgical prep for the occasional other surgery as needed

·         Anesthesia monitoring

·        Small animal surgical recovery nursing

Qualifications and Requirements:

·         California RVT License

·         Prior high-quality, high-volume spay neuter or shelter medicine experience with safe and caring animal handling skills

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment required

·         A positive attitude and ability to work well with team members is essential
