Strong progressive privately owned hospital seeks energetic experienced hospital manager for four veterinarian hospital in gentrified Harlem, NY.  Our uptown Manhattan home, Harlem Animal Hospital,  attracts wonderful clientele who are willing to give and appreciate the very best care for their pets. Our medical director and owner, Dr. Kiani, gets rave reviews from staff and clients alike.  One says, “I have been bringing my furry babies to Harlem Animal Hospital since they opened. We are seeking a strong veterinary technician/manager who ‘sweats the small stuff’ yet sees the big picture.  Experience includes:

• 5 years of veterinary hospital manager experience including veterinary technician experience, human resource and personnel management, operations and financial management.
• Ability to develop and recruit veterinary technicians and assistants,
• Schedule, manage inventory and ordering from cost effective vendors,
• Ability to deal with conflict and manage those sometimes ‘challenging’ clients,
• The ability to make decisions, delegate responsibility and achieve results with hospital team members.
• Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
• Respect for and willingness to work with our clients and their pets.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and deal with an environment of changing priorities.

Vet Tech Manager Compensation & Benefits

We offer generous compensation ($70K plus), benefits, vacation, and sick leave.
