Are you passionate about helping animals and their people? Are you looking to bring your talent, skills, and expertise to an organization that prides itself on serving the community? If you answered yes, we are looking for you, too!
The Humane Society of Charlotte Spay/Neuter and Wellness Clinic has been in operation for almost 40 years. We pride ourselves on offering not just high-quality, low-priced spay and neuter surgeries, but also the highest quality wellness and preventative care for our clients. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and one of the leading animal shelters on the East coast, there is no better place to truly make a difference for animals in the Charlotte community and beyond.
The Clinic Services team is made up of a group of talented veterinary professionals who are passionate about animal welfare. We strive to encourage growth and development opportunities to all of our staff members, and actively foster a culture of continuous open dialogue with all levels of staff to improve not only our quality of care, but the employee experience at HSC. We truly believe that diversity in ideas, perspectives, and cultures allows our team to grow and provide the highest level of care to the animals and community at large.
As a Veterinary Technician on our Clinic Services team, you will be a leader on our staff, motivating and energizing the veterinary medical team to meet department goals. You will act as a mentor and coach, sharing your expertise with your fellow team members while completing the daily duties of preparation and recovery of animals admitted for surgery. With your experience in the veterinary field, you can expect that typical veterinary medical duties also apply such as sanitization, vaccinations, microchipping, and monitoring pre- and post-operative procedures.
We’re looking for candidates who are licensed in North Carolina as an RVT, however we encourage highly experienced technicians who are comfortable with the above duties and responsibilities to apply!
