Meadowlands Veterinary Hospital, Hackensack, NJ, is seeking a full-time Kennel Assistant to join our team.

We are a multi-doctor, small animal general practice with a highly-dedicated team of professionals who provide excellent medical and client care in a positive and collaborative work environment.

The ideal candidate must have a friendly/outgoing personality, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment. Most importantly, you must share our passion for animals!

Duties will include:

• Lifting and restraining animals
• Clean and maintain veterinary treatment areas and cages
• Doing laundry, taking out the garbage
• Helping veterinary technicians with tasks as requested
• Observing animals post-surgery and alerting technicians if appropriate
  Must be able to lift 50 lbs
